My sewing/crafting library

Two years ago I decided to seriously learn how to sew and since then I've collected a nice library of books. I wanted to share these with you because not only do they look neat all together, but they might inspire you to sew as well! There are so many great sewing and craft books out there that it can really be hard to choose unless you have a huge craft budget. Wouldn't we all love a huge craft budget.

If you are learning to sew and know absolutely nothing, I recommend picking up Simple Sewing by Lotta Jansdotter. It has easy functional projects with clear instructions. I also recommend Martha's Encyclopedia of Sewing and Fabric Crafts. It's got everything you could possibly want to know about fabric.

To the far left is my venture into Japanese crafts also known as zakka. Japanese crafters are amazing. Their instructions are so detailed that you can follow just the illustrations in order to complete the project.  I also picked up a girl's clothing book. Unfortunately Sofia is still a few centimeters too short, so I'm waiting until she's 90cm to use the book.

You can find the links to these books in The Bookshelf under the sewing and craft section. What do you have in your library?

Here is a peek at what is coming up either the end of this week or beginning of next; depending on how much time I get to sit and type. I'm really excited about it!
