Little crafty projects

In the last few weeks, in order to feel more accomplished beyond diaper changes and attempting to clean, I've been doing little crafty projects. I've been including my girls in most of these activities as they like to be around me, and why not let them see what I like to do.

I tried felting soap using this tutorial. I didn't work at it long enough, the first time we used these in the shower the dye ran a little and the felt came off! Oops. I will try it again with un-dyed wool as well.

A new hat for Sofia. It's the sun hat pattern I used last year from Little Things To Sew

A new throw pillow. using an envelope style cover. I did two of these pillows in 10 minutes. It's so easy. I'll have a tutorial up for this as well in March.
A quiche made with local pastured lard that I rendered myself, local eggs, chard and garlic from my garden and some of my homemade farm house cheddar. I am satisfied!

A 5 minute baby toy. I'll be posting a tutorial and pattern soon. Just working out the pattern measurements. Oh, and if you don't have the time to make one you can always buy them from my shop! There will be a whole hand full of them in my shop in March!
