Since carving the owl stamp you see in the picture above, I have had an obsession with stamp making. I've been carving out these stamps late at night after the girls have gone to bed. The tools for carving are really, really sharp and I don't want anyone, including myself to get hurt. So I let my creativity bloom at night like one of those century moon flowers.
After making the leaf stamp, I was inspired to make a treasure bag for Sofia. So I took some scrap linen and sewed a small tote bag. I then took the leaf stamp and some ink and put three leaves on both sides. Done. So fun, so easy.
Remember the peacocks from yesterday? Well here is what I am thinking for the purse. The peacocks will be an outer pocket. The teardrop peacock fabric will be the inner linning and the purple feather like fabric will be the strap. (please ignore the horribly stained berber carpet)
