Homestead Bread

"How can a nation be great if its bread tastes like Kleenex?" - Julia Child

This loaf of bread is the farthest thing from Kleenex you can get. This is a whole wheat/rye sourdough loaf. The crust is crunchy yet chewy, the crumb is tender but moist. It makes a mazing sandwiches and even better toast. It was an experiment. I will try it again and if it comes out right then I will post the recipe next time. Wish you an amazing slice of bread today because there is nothing better then homemade bread!
