This weekend was filled with celebration and crafting.
:: started with a well timed surprise gift from a friend
:: lots of fresh figs from our tree
:: a vanilla yogurt cake with tahitian vanilla bean cream in the middle and lots of berries to celebrate Daniele's birthday
:: a trip to my local fabric shop to rifle through the new remnants arrivals
:: a bit of silliness and whole lot of pretend play
:: just some of the 50 pieces of fabric I picked up
:: a little tour of my crafting space
:: there were also visits with good friends
:: homemade muffins and tea from my own mint plant
:: my ritual trip to the farmers market on Sunday, which brought zucchini, chard, pickling cucs, Tuscan melon, heirloom tomatoes, handmade tortillas, and purple string beans

ReplyDeleteWe've been eating them for a week now. It's been fun. We're renters, but when we get our own house I'm going to definitely get a fig tree.
DeleteI should add that the fabric is all remanent pieces so I got them for steal! $3.99 a yard.
DeleteWow, what great fabric, and what a great deal!!!
