Hike mama hike!

This morning we went hiking over at Catalina State Park with Abby and Wyatt. When I met Abby last week and saw she was wearing Chacos I new we'd get along well. I decided to invite her and her son Wyatt to go hiking with us, since we haven't been out in a while.

We packed up the kids in our handy child carriers and took off on the lovely birding trail. Catalina is so lush right now. There is ivy growing all over the trees, there is watering the wash and even little frogs hopping all over the trail.

Sofia promptly fell asleep, Wyatt was a quite observer and Abby and I chatted the whole mile loop.

On the way out we stopped at the stream to give the babies some water and a snack.

After eating a banana, Wyatt promptly went straight to the water getting his shoes, socks and pants all wet! It was adorable.

Of course Sofia not one to be left out, followed Wyatt right into the stream. I don't know how long we were there but we had a great time. We can't wait to go out again soon.
