Hunger, nausea or both...

It's been a while since I've mentioned anything about being pregnant. This time around I've got a toddler to take care of so I haven't had the time too dwell like I did last time. While I was pregnant with Sofia, I read every natural parenting book I could get my hands on. I was constantly looking over my pregnancy books to see what was going on and what was going to happen. In the first few weeks I full of frenzy trying to find a midwife and get my prenatal care started. Later on we started preparing for the baby, getting blankets and clothing and all those little things you think you need.

This time, I already know who my midwife will be and we all ready have all the newborn stuff we could need. If it's a girl were all set. If it's a boy were still pretty much set. I'll just need to make him some pants and shirts. I feel very at ease this time, like stepping into an old pair shoes.

Physically this pregnancy seems to being going in the same direction as the first. Same likes and dislikes, same aches and pains. The only addition is early early morning sickness. Were talking like 2am to 9 am. Last time I had no morning sickness just hunger, extreme hunger like a wolf in midwinter. I still have that this time, just add nausea to it. It's quite a vicious circle and one that I have a hard time preventing. Even eating a full meal in the middle of the night doesn't always help.

I'll try not to lament about any pregnancy woes, as this is meant to be a happy journey and one that you readers get to share with me. I just wanted to mention this as a way of documenting this pregnancy a bit. Last time I had a notebook and wrote down every little thing. This time I just want some of the highlights.

Were any of you mama readers hungry during your pregnancy/ies?
