We have danced and they have come....

The monsoons have finally showed up. They came by night and were silent, but I woke up yesterday morning to puddles of water all over the ground. It may not be much to those of you who live in any other part of the country, but for the desert dwellers it's something to rejoice.

I knew they were coming about three days before when I saw altocumulus clouds rolling though. See my post about them here! Also the day of, it got very humid and we started to see actual condensation on cold glasses, not something you usually see in the desert with 5% percent humidity. When we get a true storm during the late afternoon I will take a video and post it so you can all enjoy a real down pour!
