Late night creativity
Late night stamp making. It doesn't get more fun then this! Here I am up at 11pm, house is so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I just finished cutting a stamp for my Esty shop buisness card. I got out my block printing ink and roller and had some fun stamping around. I feel rejuvienated by simply making something. I love love love to create things. That's why I cook, and wanted at one point to be a professional artist. Now, being an artist is even more fun because the pressure is off of me to make a living from it. In college I used to love having to stay up late to hang out in the darkroom while I waited for prints to develop or being covered in paint at midnight while I put just one last layer on the canvas. There is something magical that happens in the late hours. Why creativity spills forth at that time I really don't know, but I know many artists who do their best work at night. Look for a stamp making tutorial soon, it's quiet easy.
