After the amazing response to this past Friday's {this moment} pictures I want to share with you some links to the messy house posts I've come across lately. I know it's hard to read blogs sometimes because it looks like we're all clean and put together and make crafty things and bake from scratch. But really, that's because I don't put the grungy stuff into the blog much. With a toddler that follows me around taking things out as I put them back, nothing stays clean for more then 30 seconds.
However, in an effort to make this space as accessible and welcoming as possible I'm going to start including my messes and failures on occasion. These pictures were taken this morning. Though I should have taken them now because I did nothing about these messes today and they are much worse. Tomorrow will be a fun day of cleaning! Sofia likes to "do dishes" while I do them.

Note this basket with this laundry has been here for three days! So close yet so far.

haha. wonderful mess! Love it :)You have the clothes at least in a basket, I pile them up on the baby's bed. But in that way, I am forced to clean them up in the evening, although sometimes they just get moved to the floor ;) Thanks for your honesty! I might put some of my messy pics on my blog. ReplyDeleteAt least they are on the babies bed and not your own. I don't know how many times I've moved the laundry from my own bed to the laundry basket and back again because they didn't get put away before bed time! Thanks for dropping by!
