Bursts of color
The spring equinox is just a few days away and with the coming of spring comes lots of color!
Our CSA has started up again, which means I'll be sharing with you all fun things for each week's basket.
Last week was turnips, diakon radishes and kolrabi. And some purple asparagus I picked up from another farmer.
This week we've got bok choi, purple spring onions and kale. Of course that's not all, but these are the most fun items!
From my own garden we have more carrots. I pulled these two last night for dinner and had to share the beautiful color with you all!
Lastly is my new purse. I shared the fabric with you last week, but here's the finished project!
Welcome to a color filled week my friends! I hope yours is over flowing!

Oh, oh, oh! Look at that beautiful purple asparagus. Yum!
ReplyDeleteThat asparagus looks beautiful. And I love the purse! It matches the veggies. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteIt all looks yummy! I just planted Purple Passion asparagus, I'm hoping it looks like that!
ReplyDeleteOh, fresh, local veggies, I can't wait!!!! Soon, they will be gracing my kitchen too!! Things will be tasty in your kitchen this week :)
ReplyDeleteLove the purse, did you use a pattern? I have some fabric here waiting to be made into a new purse...
I did not use a pattern. I knew I wanted a strip of the purple fabric on the side and went with that. It was all from my head really.
DeleteLooks a lot like my Farm Box last week, minus the beautiful asparagus--I'm jealous!
