Hi Everyone! We're back from what seemed like a very long vacation. For me it wasn't quite long enough but too long for the little ones. By day seven Sofia was very ready to come home to her bed and her house and most of all her papa. We had such a fun filled ten days it's hard to know where to start.
I'm working on editing through 430 photographs so my follow up vacation post may come later in the week.
Today we are catching up on sleep, doing laundry, dishes, making peach lavender butter and peach gelato and peach crisp. If you follow my twitter feed you'll know that I dragged my poor family north yesterday to Schnepf Farms to gather peaches on the last day of the peach festival. We got 14 pounds of peaches. More on that later too.
There are a lot of exciting things coming up that I can't wait to share, but for today I've got to get us back on track. Our rhythm is all out of whack. No one is sleeping well and we've eaten out one too many times. And I miss my sourdough bread!

ReplyDeleteGlad you had such a relaxing time. I had my mom here for a week and it was nice to have an extra pair of hands - especially Nana hands. Hope the girls are back on track soon. And keep going on about those peaches, girl. I can't wait until ours show up at the farmer's market. I might be hitting you up for some ideas on what to do besides just bathe in them.
