Adventure crafting

 Gypsy skirt

 Adventures binoculars

Fairy wand

Last week I managed to get in a few minutes of crafty time. We were in dier need of three things: a new skirt with pockets, some binoculars and a magic wand. The skirt was made with scraps, no pattern just a few measurements to make sure it would fit. The binoculars tape, toilet paper rolls, and ribbon. And the magic wand is made of ribbon, a wooden dowel and hot glue. Tutorials to come for certain!

Today we are recovering from a very full weekend of visiting friends and a ton of driving. Not to mention the fact that I just left all of last weeks messes for this week! So Monday as usual is our cleaning day!

I hope your weekend went well. Also, don't forget to enter to win Soapnuts from my lovely sponsor Laundry Tree if you haven't already!

  2. Oh my that skirt is gorgeous. Love the binoculars, we are in magnifying glass mode around here and loving every minute of it.

And that fairy wand, so funny, Reece played with one at music class a few weeks ago and has been asking for one...I think I shall be making one this week :)

Have fun cleaning, that's fun with two kiddies, right?

    1. Fun! One is on my back while the other sits at my feet eating a snack and there for following me as I sweep making new crumbs!

I love the skirt too. I want to make one for myself! Skirts with pockets are just great.
