A Desert Homespun dress

I've been waiting to get my hands on one of these for Sofia and now she finally has one. This lovely dress was a gift from Pamela for Sofia's first birthday.

Photographing Sofia in this was so hard. She just wanted to run around and around. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

PS I was surprised and did not read the tutorial Pamela wrote about making the dress over on her blog. I really love the design. Especially the clever way she did the armhole hemming with an inner bodice. I want to take that idea, who really wants to sew biased tape on baby armholes anyway. Oh yes and the key hole opening at the back so lovely! I noted it the moment I picked the dress up.
