Hello Baby P.

I wanted to take a moment from my busy mama to a toddler life and talk about the new baby on the way. I've been call him/her baby P. Though Daniele thinks I should call it baby E as we are looking to Italian "E" names for the baby. I've been referring to the baby as boy because I would like to have a boy this time around. We won't know until April what the gender is. For the purpose of this post I will be referring to Baby P as boy.

Sofia keeps me on my toes all day and I don't get much time to think about Baby P. But since we recently heard the heart beat, he's been on my mind a lot more. I'm starting to think about things to make him and any preparations we'll need to do in a few months time. My morning sickness is easing up a little bit too. We're at 12 weeks today so the end of the first trimester is coming round. But I'm glad I have a long time left to prepare mentally and emotionally for the new addition.

I often think of the baby now at night as I drift off to sleep. I feel like it's the one time where I can give him my full attention. With Sofia's pregnancy I thought about her so much it was almost too much. So now getting little moment with Baby P are really special.

So what do I want to tell Baby P. months in advance before he's even born? That I already love you even though I don't know you yet. And I am so honored to be your vessel into this world. Oh yes and you better love handmade clothes because if you are a boy you will be getting lots of them!
