What does it feel like?
Then the other night during bath time I felt it. It's a sense of peace. It felt so Zen. No one was walking up stream, we were all still. (I must interject that there not actually quiet here, lots of laughing and splashing were occurring) We were all in the bathroom, the girls in the tub, the hubby and I on the floor and we were all happy in that moment. You could feel the good vibes rolling around the room; everyone big and small was at peace. Since then we've felt that feeling over and over again. It stretches itself out for longer and longer periods. If we time ourselves just right and jump on that wave we can sometimes ride it all day. Those are really good days. Those are days that make you look forward to the future growth of your family. Feeling the rhythm is so good.
Have you felt it? Do you know what what I mean?
Yes - what a feeling! And sometimes it is there and sometimes not, but always kept in the heart and mind at least, which makes me feel that no matter what everything is going to be okay.
ReplyDeleteOnce you've felt it, it really does help you through those tough times!
DeleteYes.. we are all about rhythm. It brings a peace to our home like nothing else. Of course there are off days.. like Monday when we were out for our evening walk and the washer machine drain clogged, back up into the kitchen sink and flooded the kitchen YIKES But with an established rhythm we got back on track and peace is restored!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I hope you had tile floors! I'm glad your rhythm helped easy the flood (pun intended).
DeleteOh, yes, love finding the rhythm. It brings about a sense of peace and it feels so good. I remember that feeling each time we fall out of rhythm, helps to keep me going and eventually bring it back.
