A little break from the usual

Today we are leaving to see my family in New Mexico for ten days. The girls and I are flying solo on this one as Daniele has to work. I'm bring my iPad and camera with me, but my time here and with you all will be limited I think. Who knows. I'm looking forward to chocolate at Kakawa, thrifting in Santa Fe and lots of green chili. Some walking by the river under the great cottonwood trees and whole lot of girly chatting my my mom and my aunt. This time around I swear I will get a picture of the four generations of women in my family.

I really need these few days of recharging as I've been feeling disconnected. I feel like I've lost my rhythm a bit as keeper of my home. It will be nice to have drastically reduced my responsibilities by being in someone else house. Then when I come back hopefully I will have a fresh mind and can dive back into my full time job.

In the mean time if you are planning to travel this summer and have kiddos you should check out my travel series: Tips for Traveling with Infants and Toddlers.

If you really like the series feel free to pin it, stumble it or tell your friends on Facebook! I know, I know it seems silly to ask but I really love this series and I wish more people would read it. There will be a part four sometime in June as well talking about extreme travel and camping!

    1. I read that post! I'm a little jealous. I went to Alaska for a month many years ago and so long to return! I hope it's as amazing as you are thinking it will be.
