    Wasn't the art in this edition so pretty? I loved the little paintings of the family (about 2/3rds of the way in?).

    Ok, so its definitely worth it, then? I've been on the fence about ordering the subscription, I keep trying to justify it in my mind, that it's a treat for mama, but... what do you think? I mean, if Taproot is your {this moment} that you want to pause & savor, I'm thinking your answer is a "yes!"

      Go for it! You pay what 35 dollars one time a year. That's not much. If you give up a few lattes or put aside change for a month. Really I enjoy the beautiful artwork and the fact that it talks about all the things I'm living or imagine myself living.

    Taproot and a road trip! And yes the art was gorgeous. My only bummer about it... there was no way to tear the pages out and frame them (yes that was my plan!) because two of the pictures were on the same page--front and back.

      I know, I keep thinking that too. I want to frame some of these images! Maybe we can get them to to some online downloads.

    I want to caption it "Mama in repose" Enjoy your weekend!!! Hope you get some cool weather and that the girls have a blast. I inhaled my Taproot while camping last weekend :)

      Actually about three minutes after this I put it down due to car sickness and the kids wanted a snack and so on! But I got to read it late that weekend.

    oh.... if only my wife loved to drive. and if only her driving didn't make me grip the dashboard. then I too might enjoy a moment like this. but instead, I'm always the one behind the wheel.... oh well.... at least she always takes out the trash! :)

      I'm in the same boat as you. This was such a rare moment, Daniele hates driving too. I'd take driving over the trash any day. I envy those who's spouses always drive and they can knit a whole garment in the cart!
