Enjoying the light

The other morning, after a huge storm, I decided to take the girls for a walk to see how the desert comes to life with all the added water. The color of that early morning light was really breath taking.

"I often think of that rare fulfilling joy, when I am in the presence of some wonderful alignment of events. Where the light, the colour, the shapes and the balance all interlock so beautifully that I feel truly overwhelmed by the wonder of it."

  1. Love that quote KC. And your photos are beautiful, such a different landscape from the one we live in. Hope your girls enjoyed the walk.

    1. Thank you Kim. :) They did enjoy it as it was nice and cool. Though so humid. Wow. It's always shocking to go from 5% humidity to 80%.

    1. Have you ever been to Canyon de Chelly? That's what it smells like. There is a certain weed out here that gives off an incredible smell after the rain.
