Fun Stuff from this weeks CSA

This week's CSA pick up had two fun items, chili's and squash blossoms. I roasted chopped and froze the chili's to be used later in the week for enchilada sauce.

I stuffed the squash blossoms with homemade ricotta and basil.
Then dipped them in a light batter of flour, sparkling water and salt.
Then instead of deep frying them like many recipes do, I lightly fry them in a pan.  They come out a little flat but no less delicious. We had those and spaghetti with pesto for lunch. YUM!
