I made doughnuts! It's very easy just takes a bit of waiting time. I used the recipe from Smitten Kitchen.
I left off the powdered cinnamon sugar as I felt the doughnuts were sweet enough without it. I made these doughnut with apple cider because I bought a half gallon last weekend from the market when I picked up our CSA basket. The farmers I get my CSA from were selling Brown's Orchard cider. Since we went there and picked apples already, I knew it would be good. So I bought a 1/2 gallon. Now I need to figure out what to do with all the cider beside drinking it! Any suggestions?
